TEAM Industries
a 2023 Top 200 Workplace

Corporate Headquarters in Bagley, MN June13th, 2023—TEAM Industries has been named one of the Top 200 Workplaces in Minnesota by the Star Tribune. A complete list of those selected is available at startribune.com/mn-top-workplaces and will also be published in the Star Tribune Top Workplaces special section on Sunday, June 18.

Produced by the same team that compiles the 32-year-old Star Tribune 100 report of the
best-performing public companies in Minnesota, Top Workplaces recognizes the most progressive companies in Minnesota based on employee opinions measuring engagement, organizational health and satisfaction. The analysis included responses from 124,719 employees at Minnesota public, private and nonprofit organizations.

The rankings in the Star Tribune Top 200 Workplaces are based on survey information collected by Energage, an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention.

TEAM Industries was ranked 45th on the large company list.

Star Tribune CEO and Publisher Steve Grove said, “The companies in the
Star Tribune Top 200 Workplaces deserve high praise for creating the very best work environments in the state of Minnesota. My congratulations to each of these exceptional companies.”

TEAM was the dream of founder Don Ricke and his wife, Beatrice.  In 1967, Don and Bea started Motek Engineering and Manufacturing in Cambridge, MN, within a 5,000 sq ft facility. The name has since been changed to TEAM Industries.  Today over 1,200 employees operate from facilities with over 1,000,000 + sq ft of manufacturing and office space.

Over 50 years later, TEAM is still a family-owned business and remains the largest, non-captive provider of design solutions in the market we serve. In addition, we off our manufacturing capacity across a large variety of markets as a “make to print” contract manufacturer.

To qualify for the Star Tribune Top Workplaces, a company must have more than 50 employees in Minnesota. Over 5,000 companies were invited to participate. Rankings were composite scores calculated purely on the basis of employee responses.
