Say hello to Sherry Mikesh, one of TEAM Park Rapids’ outstanding Buyer/Planners who’s been part of our crew since 2015!

Sherry originally joined TEAM in search of a full-time position with excellent benefits and a short commute to work. Sherry plays a key role in keeping our operations running. As a Buyer/Planner, she coordinates with fellow TEAM members, suppliers, and customers to ensure materials are on time and on target. Her organization, attention to detail, and collaborative spirit help keep TEAM gears turning behind the scenes.

One of her proudest accomplishments? Taking the reins on the bar stock purchasing process for all TEAM locations (with the exception of Cambridge) and leading the bar cutting initiative. Her contributions in these areas have helped improve efficiencies and streamline operations which is something she takes great pride in.

For Sherry, Driving Innovation is all about following strong processes, focusing on the details, staying adaptable in changing situations, and constantly looking for opportunities to improve our processes. It’s this mindset that makes her such a valuable asset to the TEAM family.

Outside of work, Sherry loves getting creative with porch pots and designing beautiful arrangements to brighten up any season. She also enjoys gardening, playing cards, putting together puzzles, and spending quality time at the lake with her husband and their three daughters. Whether she’s relaxing outdoors or challenging her mind with a good puzzle, Sherry brings the same care and energy to her personal life that she brings to her role at TEAM.

When asked what she enjoys most about TEAM, Sherry points to the friendly atmosphere, supportive coworkers, and reliable benefits. She says it’s a workplace where people genuinely care about each other and where you can build a stable and rewarding career.
