Meet TEAM Member Spotlight – Amanda Kiehl – Front Desk/Administration Assistant, TEAM Detroit Lakes.

Meet Amanda Kiehl, a dependable and personable member of the TEAM family who has been making an impact at our Detroit Lakes facility since August 2022. As our Front Desk/Administration Assistant, Amanda is often the first face people see when they walk through the door, and her positive attitude sets the tone for the entire building.

Amanda first applied at TEAM after seeing a position she was interested in. She knew a few people who had worked here and enjoyed it, and the fact that TEAM is an ESOP company made it even more appealing. “That was a bonus,” she shares. It’s clear that being part of an employee-owned company matters to her.

What Amanda enjoys most about her role is the variety. No two days look the same, and that’s exactly how she likes it. “I do a variety of tasks throughout the day to keep me busy,” she explains. “I really enjoy helping and learning new things.” One of her favorite projects has been helping plan the Christmas party for team members, a behind-the-scenes effort that brings people together and builds community.

When asked what Driving Innovation means to her, Amanda puts it this way: “We are developing fresh new ideas that will outshine our competitors.” That forward-thinking mindset, paired with her eagerness to learn, makes her a great fit for TEAM’s culture.

Outside of work, Amanda lives south of Audubon on a farm with her husband of 10 years. Together they raise cows, chickens, and cats, and this past summer her bonus daughter brought home a dog they named Hazel. Amanda enjoys taking walks through the woods and staying busy with projects around the property. That same hands-on energy carries over into everything she does at work.

When asked what she likes best about TEAM, Amanda keeps it simple: “I like the work that I am doing and the people that I work with.” She believes others should consider joining TEAM because of the great benefits, wide variety of positions, and the company’s strong vision for the future.

Amanda was selected for this spotlight because of her dependable work ethic, personable nature, and eagerness to learn. She consistently shows up ready to help, builds positive relationships with those around her, and embraces new challenges with a great attitude.
